OUR PEER NETWORKS

Find your people.
SEE WHAT GOD CAN DO.

Do you have a peer network? A group of Christian educators who understand your niche? Who’ll collaborate and pray with you?

You may rely on a small group of co-workers. But imagine that group extending across your county, your state, and beyond.

What could God do then?

Imagine the connections you’d make. The ideas you could generate. The problems you could solve. How your students would benefit. Imagine blessing others far outside your local community. How could God use you to further His kingdom by collaborating with other Christian educators?

Our vision at Schools United is to foster a peer network for every Christian school leader, faculty, and staff member across the globe.

Join Schools United today to get connected with educators just like you. Your people.

Then see what God can do.

FAQs

Networking, building relationships, learning from one another. That’s the idea behind Schools United. And as God’s word says, “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” (Proverbs 27:17) That means that we make each other better by sharing our knowledge with each other and by building relationships with each other.

We want to see a peer network (a group of people with similar jobs getting together in person or online) for Christian school faculty and staff in every area of the nation (really the world, but we’ll take it one step at a time). You can be a part of bringing this vision to life!

If you are interested in joining a network, just join Schools United and connect with your network via desktop or our mySU app. Your group may decide to hold periodic Zoom meetings throughout the year.

Peer networks are for groups of Christian education professionals with expertise in the same areas. They can be for teachers, those in administrative roles, or anywhere in between. Because these are virtual connections by the mySU app or Zoom, members don’t have to be local. In fact, learning from others outside your community could be a great way to broaden your perspective and grow your impact.

Local chapters are networks for Christian school leaders (heads of school, principals, directors, and other administrators) who meet in person locally at various times throughout the year.

There’s no set rule about how your network must meet. Every group may do things a bit differently, depending on your needs and expectations.

However, as a general rule, local chapters for school leaders meet in person several times a year, for instance, quarterly at various schools in the local vicinity.

Peer networks can communicate via the mySU app and/or meet periodically on Zoom.

If you feel led to become a local chapter or peer network leader, we’re here to guide you every step of the way. Your decision will be a blessing.

Sure! Keep scrolling to find a list of networks that already exist.

If you’d like to start one that doesn’t exist here, let us know at info@schoolsunited.org, and we’ll add it to our mySU app.

The short answer is no. We know you may wear many hats as a Christian educator. That’s why we want you to find a peer network for each one.

In fact, we believe that joining peer networks can actually save you time in the long run. Praying and collaborating with your peers may generate some practical ways to improve your practices.

If there is no network in your local area or profession, pray about leading one, and email us at info@schoolsunited.org so we can help! You could be the person God uses to make something great for you and your professional peers.

There is no cost other than a little of your time and effort, and you don’t have to be an expert or have a ton of experience in your field. A willing heart and desire to foster meaningful connections will go a long way!
